Aradhya from India

“I enjoy the classes I’m taking — I can really say that about this university. In India, the teachers mostly dictate notes and you write, so it can be boring. Here, my classes are more interactive, more interesting and I actually enjoy being there. The professors ask questions and you get to participate in discussion. Even though I don’t like science, chemistry is now my favorite class because of the way my professor teaches.”

Shanshan from China

“Here at USC, I can learn English much faster because I am learning English by being around so many Americans. At some universities, there are so many Chinese students that they stick together and do everything with each other. When you do this, you don’t have as much of a chance to learn English. But I think our campus is very good for learning English quickly!”

Fei from China

“Being in the Undergraduate Accelerator is a privilege — all international students should get this opportunity and level of support. I am adapting well culturally and getting the academic and language support I need to successfully transition from high school in my home country to a top U.S. university. All the support makes it easy for me to focus on growing personally, socially and academically as a college student in the United States.”
